When should I order for Christmas?
Order by December 12 for delivery before Christmas. Your free preview is ready in about a minute, and every order is printed and packed by hand. The 4K digital download is emailed right after checkout, so it is never too late for that.

What are the Christmas cards like?
Flat 5x7 cards on heavy matte card stock, with your portrait on the front and your greeting printed underneath, each with a white envelope. Choose a pack of 10, 25 or 50 and type your greeting, for example Merry Christmas from the Smiths and Biscuit.
Can I be in the portrait with my pet?
Yes. Add a photo of the two of you, or separate photos of you and your pet. We paint whoever is in your photos: just your pet, or you together. Any style works either way.
Can you paint my cat?
Yes. Every Christmas style works for a cat too. Add up to three photos to paint two or three pets together.
Which photos work best?
Your dog or cat facing the camera with both eyes showing, taken at their eye level and close up. If you're in it, a clear photo of your face works best; a selfie is fine. Soft daylight is best. Avoid flash, sunglasses, hats, filters, blurry or far-away photos, and anything covering a face.
How is my portrait made?
An AI model paints your portrait in the style you choose, using your photos as the reference. Results vary, so look closely at the free preview before you order. If the face isn't quite them, tap Sharpen it to your photo for a free repaint. I check every order by hand before it's printed.
What's free, and when do I pay?
The preview is free and no card is needed. You can try another style or ask for a change for free too. You only pay if you order cards, an ornament, a print, the Christmas Set or the digital file.
What happens to my photos?
They're used only to paint your portrait. We never publish them, sell them or use them in ads.
